I grew up in a family with traditional yet progressive parents who were protective of their four children and had strong family values. Because I lived in a diverse and international compound I was mostly exposed and influenced by western art.

It wasn't until I went to an art school in San Francisco that I started exploring my roots and heritage through my art, and it became a main component of my designs. The end result of my design work is a fusion of east meets west. A reflection of how we've all become global citizens and a visual language that transcends barriers.
